Meet Steph- BFF, maid of honor, voice of reason, & Beth’s right hand (wo)man. Steph has been part of Beth’s world since 2002, when Beth was still an impressionable youth & they were both living in Monterey CA. They were neighbors & family friends & spent quite a bit of time with each other’s siblings. As time passed & distance grew, the two bonded over their one mutual & undying love, Disney. After multiple shared Disney World trips & a party planning partnership dating back to 2012, they took the next step in their relationship when Beth became a Kansas Citian in 2015. This made their shared birthday spectaculars much more realistic & also led to a slew of unforgettable game nights. These two know that adventure is out there & they are always willing to chase it to infinity & beyond!

Meet Kristin – friend, bridesmaid, matchmaker extraordinaire. Earning a seat at the table, she is proud to wear the badge of the one that “made the magic happen” in introducing the happy couple (they’re reminded of this frequently). In meeting Beth, as fate would have it, a mutual love of beer, baseball, and Marvel movies would transcend a professional acquaintance into an even greater friendship. On any given day, one could find this duo chaperoning a puppy play-date, gabbing about Friday’s Grain Valley football game (celebrating a win, obviously), planning our next themed dinner party, or getting lost in one-too-many episodes of “Grace & Frankie.”

Meet Elizabeth, better know as Ellie, Beth’s pseudo-sister. One of their favorite past times is their shared love of confusing people who wonder why their parents gave them the same first name. She is studying Engineering and theatre at the best school in the nation- The University of Florida. And one day might fulfill her families dream of her being a Disney imagineer.

Meet Travis – Beth’s best friend & go-to guy if she ever needs someone to give her a hard time (all out of love, of course). Ever since the fateful day when Beth & Travis met in middle school band class, the two have always been there for each other as they grew up & found their way in life. From youth groups to pole vaulting to navigating undergrad life at the University of Florida, Beth & Travis have made a friendship that will last a lifetime. From what Travis has heard and seen, Beth has found herself an amazing man to spend the rest of her life with & he could not be happier. Even though he put up a fight, he was finally persuaded to come & freeze his butt off to celebrate with Beth & Matt in KC. Travis is not sure Matt knows what he’s signed up for, all he can say is “Good luck!!”

Meet Lindsay - Beth's sister, the oldest of the three Cobb kids. She is so excited that Beth finally found her soulmate in Matt! They bring out the best in each other and Lindsay prays they continue to grow that together!

Meet James - Beth's older brother by six years. Try as he might in the early stages of their lives to harden Beth up in the school of hard knocks, it was Beth who taught James to smile and lighten up in life. James has enjoyed watching Matt and Beth's relationship bloom over the years. He promises to try his hardest not to blubber loudly during his younger sister's wedding ceremony.
