Some stories are written in the stars. Ours? It’s etched in faith, laughter, resilience, and real love. We are two people deeply grounded in family—and somehow blessed enough to be embraced by each other’s. From surprise birthday parties that turned into proposals, to Harvard graduations and quiet prayers on the sand, our story has been anything but ordinary. We’ve stood side-by-side through legal battles, health scares, hospital stays, and even VA benefit cuts. In a world that’s thrown more than a few storms our way, we’ve faced them all—together. Challenges that could’ve torn others apart only strengthened our bond. And yes, we’ve answered New Edition’s question: "Can you stand the rain?” We didn’t just stand—we danced in it. We learned how to date over FaceTime. We shared stories of growing up in “holiness” churches and laughed until we cried. We built connection on couches and coastlines—meditating by the ocean, listening to Pink Sweat$ remind us that we have the "Real Thing", and reflecting on love, culture, and God. Our story includes missed dates (ask about that one 😅), unexpected moments of divine timing, and prophetic love that even Erica saw coming before either of us could explain it. Andre said, “Harvard has all my attention right now.” And yet…here we are. This is a momentous celebration—not just of a wedding, but of **Black love, Black excellence, and sacred alignment**.
