We will be incorporating several beloved Filipino traditions that symbolize love, unity, and prosperity. One of these is the Money Dance, a fun and meaningful tradition where guests are invited to pin money onto the bride and groom’s clothing as they dance. This gesture is a way of offering well wishes and blessings. Traditionally, the money symbolizes good fortune, financial support, and the guests’ hopes for a prosperous marriage. If you’d like to join in the Money Dance, feel free to bring bills (any amount is welcome!) to pin or clip onto our outfits during the dance. We'll have pins and helpers available nearby to make it easy to participate. You’ll also see three meaningful symbols during our ceremony: The Veil is draped over our shoulders to represent being "clothed as one," a sign of unity and mutual love. The Cord, looped in a figure-eight shape, symbolizes the everlasting bond of marriage. The Coins (Arrhae) represent prosperity and our commitment to sharing responsibilities and blessings in our life together. We’re so grateful to share these special moments—and this part of our culture—with you.
