Like many relationships in 2021, ours started with Hinge. We initially met in 2021 and went on a few dates - and they were great! Instant chemistry. But then a couple months go by and Alexa decided she was moving to Texas. And when Alexa decides something, she does it. So off to Texas (Fort Worth) she went. Fast forward a little over a year later. Alexa was back visiting in Minnesota and Taylor noticed. He slid in the DMs and asked to grab drinks to catch up. We made plans to meet for happy hour at a patio in North Loop, but Taylor made it clear he only had 59 minutes because he had a Minnesota United (go loons!) game to get to that evening. Naturally, those 59 minutes flew by. Since our time catching up on the patio was cut short by the MN United game, we decided to get together again. This time we planned to get sushi at Billy Sushi at 9:00 PM on a Saturday night (clearly a date). Somehow Taylor wasn’t entirely sure and went into the evening not knowing if it was a date or not. We were both incredibly nervous, but it ended up being the best night - the kind where you've been in conversation so long you didn't realize 2.5 hours has passed. By the end of the night, Alexa made sure to confirm that this was in fact a date (for Taylor’s clarity). And the rest is history.
