It’s funny how life works, one day you’re complaining about dying alone and the next you’re going on a date with the person you’re going to spend the rest of your life with. The twist and turns of life lead us into the situations where we are meant to be. The bride was so content on being alone, but needing a distraction from her life choices and the groom was ready for something more meaningful. Fast forward to a very anticipated first date, The bride, Lulu, was a day post-op of having a tubal ligation, while the groom, JP, pretended to be uninterested to not seem eager. The more JP tried, the harder he fell in love, and the more he pretended to be nonchalant, the more Lulu was making it her life mission to show him how simply amazing she was. There were a few obstacles of course, heck, She bleeds blue, and he still believes the Giants are going to win a World Series this decade. Yet the more they hung out, and got to know more about each others past, present, and what they want in the future, there was no denying this was what they both had searched and longed for. They accepted each other’s flaws, imperfections, and traumas, while still being the best versions of themselves for each other. It’s funny looking back to when we didn’t know each other and not knowing the life that was awaiting us. The life full of Sundays with our families, the vacations with Santino, Jacoby, and Jayden, the endless banter of who’s team is better, the endless days of school, sports, and Boy Scouts, but more importantly the life full of love given, shown, and felt. We’re never sure where life will take us next, or how long we will have to enjoy this beautiful life. Yet, the one thing we are sure of, the life we have been able to find with each other has made every heartbreak, every tear, every mistake, and sadly every loss, a chapter in our on going story of finding each other. Plus, it’s easy to love someone who is so loyal (she’s still a Raiders Fan, while he stays faithful to the Bay ❤️; To be continued…
