We’re getting married!

Our story began as elementary school kids growing up in the same neighborhood, surrounded by the same friends. We stayed in touch over the years, but it wasn’t until junior year of high school that things changed. I messaged him, he asked me out, and the rest is history. Our first date was at the Americana at Brand in Glendale, where we watched Doctor Strange and spent the night walking around together. By our third date, which was a Super Bowl Sunday, our families were already meeting, and it quickly became clear this was something special. Not long after, surrounded by our childhood friends, he asked me to be his girlfriend, and of course, I said yes. From kiddie crushes to date nights, and now to planning our wedding, we’ve truly grown up side by side. We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you as our story continues this time, forever.

Hawai‘i has always held a special place in our hearts. We love exploring the different islands together, and this time, we found ourselves in Maui, surrounded by breathtaking nature, from hikes and off-roading adventures to swimming in the bluest ocean. But this trip felt different… in the best way. On a Thursday evening, he planned a romantic beach picnic. As we walked toward the sand, the sun was setting so beautifully, and waiting there was a circle of hibiscus flowers, almost like something out of a dream. In that moment, I just knew. As we stepped into the circle, he began telling me the most beautiful things before getting down on one knee and asking me to marry him. I dropped down with him, said yes, and we both cried in each other’s arms. It was magical, intimate, and everything we could have ever dreamed of. When we returned home, we celebrated with an engagement party surrounded by our closest family and friends, making the moment even more unforgettable.
