The ceremony will begin at 3pm, so we recommend you plan to arrive between 2:30pm-2:45pm.
Cocktail attire! The ceremony will be taking place outdoors on a lawn and then we will be in a tent. We recommend cocktail dresses for ladies and suits for gentlemen. Please wear sensible shoes for the lawn and gentle inclines. Please check the weather ahead of time as this will be an outdoor event and evening temperatures may fall to low 60ºs.
While we have not catered any specific theme for this event, the wedding is an intimate affair and we look forward to embracing the natural beauty of the seaside venue overlooking the bay and Nubble Lighthouse.
There is very limited availability for lodging at the wedding location itself, so we recommend booking an Airbnb nearby or perusing the many housing accommodations available in York! The venue has a sister location called Stones Throw Hotel which is 4 minutes away, should you prefer a traditional hotel.
As most guests will not be staying in any central location, we will not be able to accommodate or provide transportation. Unfortunately, southern Maine is not the most walking-friendly area so even if you are staying nearby, we do encourage you to plan transportation in advance! There are very limited Ubers & Lyfts. If you choose to drive yourself, there will be event parking adjacent to the venue.
The ceremony and reception will both be at The ViewPoint Hotel in York, Maine. The address is: 229 Nubble Rd, York, ME 03909 There will be signage at the venue to guide you on a very short walk to the even behind the hotel.
We will only be hosting the wedding and reception on Saturday. No other formal events have been scheduled or planned.
Please go to the website listed on the invite and electronically RSVP for this event.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Our guest list is limited to those addressed on the invites.
You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no” to the invite so we can plan accordingly.
We ask that you please refrain from photography during the ceremony. We have a terrific photographer who will capture these moments for us.
We will have appetizers as part of the cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony. Then we will have a formal sit-down dinner and reception in which everyone will be served a pre-set meal including both chicken and salmon, with seasonal vegetables. If you marked "vegetarian" in your RSVP, you will receive the pre-set vegan option. Dessert will follow dinner.
York sound ordinances mean we will be wrapping up our celebration around 9:30pm/10pm on Saturday.

As this is an intimate wedding, chances are that you can find another family member who will know the answer! We will share the contact information for our wedding planner and event staff once we get closer to the day. If you have a burning question in the meantime, and nobody you have asked yet knows the answer, then please email Devon for the time being.
Only if leashed!
Please direct all security-related questions to the BOTB (brother of the bride) Malcolm Lumia. Please contact Devon if you do not have Malcolm's contact info (it would not be SECURE to have that information here).
Fishing will not be permitted during the event, but if you would like recommendations on where to fish (locally or at large), please speak to the FOTB (Paul Lumia).
