We're getting married... again!

We officially tied the knot on 9th December 2022. At the time, we chose to keep it very small and simple - just the two of us, our boys, and our parents as witnesses. William was our very proud ring bearer, and Charlie was only six months old. We surprised everyone the next day by announcing that we were married… but the plan was always to celebrate properly one day, with all our friends and family, music, food, laughter, and a big party. That day is finally here 💛

Our story

Wedding number 2... let's go!

We met at work in 2014 at Opus Energy. Louise was the new Marketing Manager, Dave worked in the Commercial Team, and we sat opposite each other. First impressions? We both fancied the pants off each other… although Dave’s insanely loud cereal eating habits nearly ruined his chances! We became friends first. We’d try to time making tea at the same time just so we could chat. We danced together at Christmas parties. We spent nearly two years as friends, slowly falling in love. When the moment felt right, Louise asked Dave out “for a drink to talk about work stuff”. Dave took her for a walk along the River Thames, where we talked for hours. Dave officially asked Louise to be his girlfriend in October 2016. We moved into our first house in Bicester in 2017, bought our little sausage dog Millie, and in August 2019, we welcomed our first little boy, William, into the fam. Dave proposed in October 2020, back on the River Thames in the exact spot where we had our first date (absolutely nailed it!). We moved into our current home in Westbury in May 2021, life got busy very quickly, and in June 2022, our second beautiful boy Charlie completed our family. We married later that year in Oxford, just opposite the spot where we’d had our first kiss on a work night out! It was simple, freezing, and perfect. We always intended to celebrate properly once life (and renovations!) settled down… kitchen first, then bathrooms, then adjusting to life with two very energetic boys.... Now it’s finally time... and we cannot WAIT to celebrate with all of you!
