Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

We really want our guest to enjoy the wedding and not have to worry about navigating through the city. Therefore, we will be providing a shuttle service to and from the Hacienda from 2 main pick-up locations in Downtown/Centro. We do not recommending a car rental for transportation. Details to come.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Keep in mind that the summer heat is kicked up a notch in April, so please dress in light attire, maybe linen, light colors suit jackets not required for the men, we'd love to see the gentlemen in a traditional Guayabera. Ladies, our best friend materials in the heat are silk, linen and cotton and heels are fine, you will not be walking through any grassy areas, so your heels will not be digging into the ground.

Where should we stay?

TWO ANSWERS: Short Stay: Stay at the Hacienda, for a relaxing short getaway with first-class amenities. Hotel includes a cenote, 2 pools, gourmet restaurant and is close to the airport and Downtown/Centro. Longer Stay: Stay in Downtown/Centro in the heart of the action for a few days. Plenty of hotels, & Airbnbs to choose from with everything in walking distance. Or you can split up your stay with a combination of both, which would give you both of best worlds.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be the most covered part of the evening, the cocktail hour will be open air and the reception open are as well with a roof.

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Hacienda Santa Cruz in the mid-seventeenth century chapel. Once you arrive at the Hacienda, you will not need drive.

What are my transportation options to and from Merida Airport?

The best ways to and from the airport: 1. Private pick-up option: Freddy Solis, personal family friend from Merida speaks English fluently and knows the city inside and out. Also a great contact for transportation during your stay. Local Taxi services located in the airport (taxi booths are located just inside the exit of the airport), costs are approximately $20 USD ($400 MXP) one way up to 2 people. ***UBER & LYFT CANNOT PICK UP AT AIRPORT***
