After working for the same organization for more than 20 years, we did not meet until 2008. He joined the department I worked in and he became my confidant and surprisingly my biggest supporter. Eventually the stars aligned and he revealed that he was in love with me in late 2009. After much contemplation and communication, I decided to given love a try and we have been inseparable ever since. He has supported me through some on the most trying times of my life. In 2014, he revealed that his kidneys were beginning to fail and I immediately volunteered to donate if it was determined that I would be a match. In 2017, the time came for the donation process to begin and in every way I was a perfect match to donate my kidney to save his life. We underwent the surgery on May 23, 2017, and everything was a success. Louis has had a new lease on life. We both feel that our meeting after so many years of working in such close proximity without ever knowing one another was God’s plan for our lives. With that we would love for you to join us on our new journey of becoming Mr. and Mrs. Louis Robert Johnson.
We’d like to dedicate this section to our deceased parents. Mr. Robert Earl Lee, Sr. (my father) and Mr. & Mrs. Robert and Delencer Johnson. My father and Louis had a very special relationship. Louis treasured the moments they shared and valued Mr. Lee’s sage advice. He looked up to him as a surrogate father, since he lost his father at the age of 19. Louis’ parents were very old school no-nonsense parents and Linda only hopes that they would approve of their union.
