We first met in 2008 when we were cast as Danny and Sandy in a non-equity, touring production of 'Grease: The Musical'. When the tour ended we both went our separate ways-me to return to the house of my Auntie, a wealthy spinster often involved in capers, and Louis to a life of hunting lost treasure and artifacts. In the spring of 2017 Louis had recently discovered The Arc of the Covenant in a dusty warehouse and was seeking a place to relocate it. He settled on none other than Auntie's newly acquired Museum of Natural History. As soon as he strode through the main hall with that enormous crate sparks flew. He smiled at me. I blushed. He invited me to dinner that evening. After a lovely meal of wine recovered from the Titanic and cold monkey brains he held my hand and asked me the most important question of my life, "do you remember the choreography to 'Summer Lovin'?" Of course I said, "yes". We still perform songs from the show for dinner guests. Seriously, we first met working for Steve Bullock in 2016. During the Special Election of 2017 I worked for Rob Quist and he worked for one of Quist's IEs. Due to FEC law this meant we legally could only have the most limited of communication. After the Special Election, and following an LCV rally, he invited me out for a drink. The first story is far more interesting.
