When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 3:00 PM, so please try to arrive by 2:45 PM.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Think half wedding, half fun night out in the city. The magic Google search is "semi-formal wedding attire." For the guys we're suggesting suits (tie optional), and for the girls we're suggesting cocktail, midi, or maxi dresses. If you want to go big with something even more formal, we say go for it, but no pressure. We want everyone to be comfortable and have fun!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know ahead of time of any food allergies so we can let the kitchen staff know and avoid stabbing anyone with an epipen.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The church has a parking lot right across the street from the church entrance. It's also a residential area so parking should be fairly easy. The reception is in Manhattan (Little Italy), so we recommend taking an Uber and enjoying the open bar. If you're thinking about driving in, don't. Just kidding, there is a parking garage located a block away at 123 Baxter Street. We're also in the midst of figuring out transportation for our guests, so check back to this website for more information in the future.

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

If you are feeling young and spicy, we will have transportation coordinated to take people to Onieal's Bar in Little Italy, down the block from Gelso & Grand (the reception location). A bus will be leaving from St. Luke's after the ceremony ends at 3:30PM. This same bus will also be transporting folks at the end of the night back to Astoria, Queens.
