We really appreciate you taking your time to share in our love journey. In March 2015 Amy participated in a 90-day prayer vigil that anchored on the scripture of Deuteronomy 1:11 “And may the Lord, the God of your ancestors, multiply you a thousand times more and bless you as he promised!” (NLT). In September 2015, she purchased a home on lot 111. The morning of October 31, 2015, Louis marked Amy as one of his favorite profiles on the dating site of POF. She noticed his message immediately and sent him a heart back. Amy thought Louis was a pilot based on his uniform pictures on his profile. They messaged all morning when finally, Amy grew the courage to give Louis her number to converse offline. They continued to text and talked throughout the afternoon. Amy suggested that they meet that evening after she took her niece (Kimora) trick or treating. Louis agreed and recommended they meet at Mike’s Grill in Springfield, VA. If you ask Louis, Amy was late. Amy would disagree. She walked in and sat at the bar. Then, Louis walked in behind her. She was stunned that he was "tall and handsome". (Those were her first words to him in person 😊) They closed the restaurant with their conversation and were the last to leave that night. After exiting the restaurant, she asked where his car was. He said “I am driving that…” and pointed to a bus in the parking lot across the street. She drove them to the bus. Instead of ending their night however, they sat in the car until 4am listening to a R Kelly Volume 1 and Jay-Z unplugged CD. Louis did not want to leave, so much so that he “coincidentally” left his work phone in her car. So, she had to drive back down 95 that same night/morning to give it back to him. The next morning Amy told her best friend, Tiffany, that she had met her husband, but she did not didn’t know when she would be able to see him again. Tiffany encouraged Amy to call him and invite him out to breakfast. Amy did! She and Louis had breakfast at the Waffle house near her new home construction site (LOT 111). Of course Amy had to show him her home that was being built. After visiting the home site, they had to part ways. BUT they have been inseparable since, despite living 230 miles apart. Fast forward to June 2018, Louis and Amy purchased their first bus together to start Legacy Tours. Legacy Tours has always been Louis dream. The first bus number is 111 (anchored on the scripture of Deuteronomy 1:11) Then in December 2020, they were able to purchase their second bus, which has the number of 222. Now we are all waiting for their wedding to take place on 111222 = 11/12/22: A Thousand times More (ATM) Blessings!!! The wedding colors are the favorite colors of the kids; Khalili's favorite color is BLUE, Shaniah’s favorite color is PINK and Malayah’s favorite color is YELLOW. We are extremely grateful for your love and support of our union!!!
