What am I supposed to wear?

We are having a Halloween celebration of absolute chaos and excitement! Come dressed in your best costume and enjoy your night.

When should I arrive?

Answer

You are welcome to come to the cocktail hour we are holding before the ceremony! If that isn’t your jam, then be there at least 10-15 minutes before the ceremony.

Do I have to get a gift from the registry?

No, you can get us whatever you would like. We do have a gofundme set up for our honeymoon and would prefer people donate to that experience over physical gifts though. https://gofund.me/6a036140

Is there an open bar?

Answer

We are actually not having a bartender or anything. We will be providing some alcohol and a keg of beer, but if you like specific drinks or beer then you can totally bring your own. The venue allows byob

What should I be expecting?

Answer

This is a very non traditional wedding. Just basically think of it as a wedding ceremony and then a huge Halloween party where everyone is ridiculous, outrageous and having an absolute blast.

Can I drink and drive?

Answer

Absolutely not. Get an Uber, a taxi or a ride with a friend.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We are actually not inviting children to the wedding. We want this to be an enjoyable evening where adults are relaxed and free from responsibility. You have a full year to find a babysitter and get yourself covered.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are actually planning on having an “unplugged” ceremony. We have a photographer who will be taking many amazing photos throughout the night and we want to make sure she’s able to get the best results. Take time during the ceremony to just relax and enjoy the moment.

How will I ever see pictures from the wedding?

HOW CAN I HELP YOU GUYS OUT ON YOUR WEDDING DAY? 😭

Easy, at the end of the reception if anyone can stay and help clean the venue that would be the absolute best thing anyone can offer. There’s almost 100 of you, if everyone does one small task it could be done in no time and you’ll have time to roam the bars of Bloomington 😏
