I was out with some friends for happy hour at Chicago Fire... In walks this tall dark and handsome guy.... of course he was with a woman. So I continued down my garlic frie path. Low and behold, she knew my friend Missy. So they proceeded to "catch up". Then I hear her say, "well this is my older brother Louie".... so I threw down the frie and went to the bathroom to "check myself". Came back and they were gone. So my daughter's best friend and her boyfriend were with us at the table. I said "well he was really cute". And Justin (daughters BF's boyfriend) gets up from the table and comes back with his card..... and now here we are!
Halloween has always been a big deal for us..... While I patienly waited (hahaha) for the proposal (LOL).... No but seriously... I had no idea .... This halloween we decided on Beauty and the Beast because Louie found a cool mask he HAD to wear..... so Beauty and the Beast it was! At our annual halloween party, 10 minutes to midnight.... his high school friends were telling me (in a wine induced state) that i NEEDED to marry him. I kindly told them... they needed to be telling Louie, not me. Louie walks up.... says, "what are you talking about". Mark says, "You need to marry her"..... Louie says "Oh is THAT what I NEED to do".... so I stand up and say, He's never getting married and walk out of the room. In minutes, Louie and Tayler are calling me back into the room... I finally turn around to Louie on one knee.... holding a ring....... ;)
