Our story actually began 20+ years ago! We went to Keswick Christian School together from kindergarten all the way through senior year. From the very first day, we were often in the same classrooms but rarely in the same conversations. We were both on the introverted side, usually keeping to ourselves in the classroom. So much so that one day in AP Psych, Rebekah raised her hand to ask the teacher, “Does Grant even go here anymore?”—only to feel a tap on her shoulder… from Grant, who had been sitting right behind her all year. Quietly, of course. Fast forward to college: our best friends were dating (shout out to the Dipofis), and as they brought us into the same circle, we finally got to know each other. We started spending more and more time together—beach days, hammocking, long bike rides—and a quiet friendship slowly turned into something more. We went on our first official date in 2020, the day before Grant left to return back to college in South Carolina, and that marked the beginning of over five years of dating long-distance. During that time, we cheered each other on through graduations (Nursing school for Rebekah, The Citadel for Grant), took trips whenever we could—South Carolina, St. Augustine, Atlanta, New York—and made the most of every moment together. Eventually, Grant was stationed in Germany, and in 2024 Rebekah packed her bags and joined him there for four incredible months. Together, we have traveled to 16 countries, soaking in every bit of the world and each other. Then came April 19th 2025. On a private boat along the beautiful Amalfi Coast, Grant asked Rebekah to marry him—and of course, she said yes. Now we’re counting down the days until we say “I do,” and we’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
