Caitlin and Mike first met at a lingerie party their sophomore year when Caitlin was visiting Desiree at UMass Dartmouth...at least this is what they had been told. Fast forward almost 4 years later to August 2016 when Caitlin needed a place to live and Desiree says her college friends; Mike, Sammy, and Ben were looking for someone to fill their extra room! 2 1/2 years of Caitlin secretly talking with Desiree about her crush on Mike and Desiree constantly telling her that someday she would marry Mike. 2 1/2 years of Mikes family questioning what he was doing dancing around not pursuing Caitlin. 2 1/2 years of them both just having fun with friends and learning about each other and growing closer each day. August 2018, they moved into their second apartment together in Quincy and at this point everyone around them knew the strength of their relationship but was just waiting for the next step to be taken. January 1, 2019, Mike asked Caitlin to be his girlfriend. Over the years Caitlin has entertained Mike's wacky hobbies such as mini shrimp, his extensive plant addition that resulted in releasing dozens of lady bugs in the house and constant music-making. But Mike also embraced Caitlin's growing craft collection, and her need to control everything. April 2021 Mike and Caitlin bought their home and moved to Plymouth. Shortly after they adopted a cat named Nemo and got another Dog named Jett, joining their current dog Maeve and squirrel named Batman. 2 Dogs, a Cat, and a flying squirrel is a full house. August 28, 2022, Caitlin booked a private 4 passenger airplane ride to Marthas Vinyard. Caitlin told Mike that she wanted him to see the Aquinnah Cliffs. Little did she know he had already planned to go there and was planning to propose. It was beyond perfect, and for someone that is almost impossible to surprise, Mike did it...with the help of a couple friends!
