Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request Formal attire. We'd love to see our guests in elegant gowns, cocktail dresses, or dark suits. The ceremony will be outdoor overlooking the San Diego Bay, and the reception indoors, so we suggest comfortable yet stylish shoes.

Question

Do I need to RSVP for my whole household?

Answer

Yes. Your invitation will show the number of seats reserved for your household. When you RSVP, please let us know the exact number of guests who will attend, even if it’s fewer than the seats reserved.

Question

Should I include children in my RSVP?

Answer

Yes, absolutely. If children are part of your invitation, please include them in your RSVP so we can reserve their seats and meals as well.

Question

Why is an exact guest count important?

Answer

We plan and pay per person to make sure every guest has a seat, meal, and a wonderful experience. Providing an accurate RSVP ensures everything runs smoothly.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Our RSVP form will open when invitations are sent. At that time, you’ll be able to confirm your attendance directly through our website.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Our registry can be found under the “Registry” tab here on our website.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve put together a list of recommended hotels on our Travel page, including a room block with a discounted rate. We encourage you to book early, as San Diego fills up quickly, especially along the waterfront.

Question

Do I need a rental car?

Answer

Not necessarily. Many of our recommended hotels are close to the venue and offer shuttle services. Also rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are widely available throughout San Diego.

Question

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

San Diego International Airport (SAN) is the most convenient option, located just a short 5-minute drive from Tom Ham’s Lighthouse and our recommended hotels.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse on Harbor Island, featuring breathtaking views of the San Diego Bay and skyline.

Question

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, complimentary parking is available on-site for all wedding guests.

Question

What’s the weather like in September?

Answer

San Diego is typically warm during the day (mid 70s) and cooler in the evenings (low 60s). A light wrap or jacket is recommended for after sunset.
