What's an unplugged wedding?

Answer

As a wedding photographer I've seen so many great and meaningful photos ruined by phones, iPads, and cameras, so we have chosen to do an unplugged wedding. We want you to be able to really enjoy our wedding day, feeling truly present and in the moment with us. We've hired two amazing wedding photographers named Hillary & her husband and second shooter Jeremiah who will be capturing the entire day and every moment beautifully. So we're inviting each of you to sit back, relax, and just enjoy the wedding. We're respectfully asking that everyone leave all cameras and cell phones off & away. We understand how important it is for you to capture photos from our big day, we're so thankful to have so many people who care so much about us! However, we WILL be sharing the ENTIRE wedding gallery once the photographers are finished editing. At that time, you'll be able to download and print the photos, all I ask is please credit the photographers when posting their work (Hillary Leah Photography)!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately because the venue is tucked away in the beautiful mountains, uber isn't available and very few taxi's are. We suggest contacting a taxi service ahead of time to see if they go to Lewallen Farms and ask about cash or card and what they charge so there are no surprises. Please arrange to have a DD if you plan on drinking, your safety is very important to us and we want you to make it home safely!

Can I bring my camera?

Answer

We kindly ask you leave your cameras at home and please don't use cell phones during the ceremony. We've hired an amazing wedding photographer who will share the images with everyone once they're finished editing, at that time you can download and post- make sure to tag or credit the photographer.
