We met on Myspace almost ten years ago. We followed the same group and started chatting one day. Soon enough chatting online led to texting and texting led to long, daily phone conversations. We became a big part of each others world without the rest of the world even knowing. Meeting in person almost five years after initially finding one another online. It felt as though we had known each other always and were immediately comfortable. Soon we were taking trips together and meeting each others families. Now we're bringing both our families together and sharing our happiness with everyone. After almost ten years the adventure is FINALLY beginning....

We went to the Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens on a windy day. We walked through the gardens and eventually climbed the stairs to an elevated part of the garden. There was a bench labeled "Grandma's Bench" that overlooked the ocean. We were taking in the scenery and taking pictures. I sat on the bench while Justin was taking pictures. He walked over and stood in front of me. He asked, "Hey can I ask you a question?" Not thinking anything of it, I said "Yeah, what's up?" He got down on one knee and asked, "Will you be my wife?" Mind you this was the only trip that we took that I did not anticipate a proposal. My first reaction was shock and immediately said, "You're lying..." We both laughed and he pulled the ring out of his pocket and said, "No, I'm not" and that's when it sunk in and I said "Yes!".

We fulfilled our dream of buying our first home this year. We have officially moved in and are currently trying to make our house a home.
