Gloria's parents met Richard about a year after they started dating. Gloria was a ball of nerves as this was the first time she had ever introduced someone to them. Richard made a great impression on them by taking them out to ice cream and answering all their questions. Gloria's parents love that he is so open to trying things and learning about the Mexican culture. They have already welcomed him into the family and are looking forward to seeing them married. Tanya and Richard (yes, there's two) first met Gloria about a year after her meeting Richard. Upon first meeting her, they were very impressed not only by her professional accomplishments but also by her kind and conversationalist personality. Since then, Gloria has gotten to know them as well as the rest of Richard's family as they have treated her like she is one of their own. They cannot wait for Gloria to become a member of the family. Tanya y Richard (sí, son dos) conocieron a Gloria aproximadamente un año después de que ella conociera a Richard. Al conocerla, quedaron muy impresionados no solo por sus logros profesionales, sino también por su personalidad amable y conversadora. Prenecia and Gloria have known each other since Freshman year at Joliet Central High School. They liked each other so much they decided to live together at Saint Xavier University. The past 15 years have been an adventure and have only brought them closer. Her constant support and encouragement made her the perfect choice for Maid of Honor! As the younger brother of Richard, Alex makes perfect sense as the best man. Everything from the family vacations, to our competitions regardless of whatever small thing we do, to all of those years sharing the same room as we grew up together, Richard could not have asked for a better younger brother the last 28 years. Gloria and Courtney met their sophomore year at Joliet Central High School. Courtney offered to help Gloria learn the show choir dances. From high school to college FaceTime calls to COVID seafood boils in the car, they have so many memories that it’d be impossible to not have Courtney be Gloria’s matron of honor. Gloria y Courtney se conocieron en segundo año en la preparatoria Joliet Central. Courtney se ofreció a ayudar a Gloria a aprender los bailes del coro. Desde la preparatoria hasta la universidad, desde las llamadas por FaceTime hasta las comidas de mariscos en el auto durante la COVID-19, tienen tantos recuerdos que sería imposible que Courtney no fuera la madrina de Gloria.

As one of Richard's earliest friends, Mike and Richard have had quite the number of adventures throughout the nearly 25 years they have known each other. From all of the countless times hanging out in Mike's basement, to the spontaneous events going out, and even to Richard being the best man at Mike's own wedding, Mike is the best person for the role of man of honor. Richard first became friends with Scott in high school after Richard decided to join cross country and track. Not only was he able to help Richard feel more comfortable in something that was completely new to him, but he was able to form a friendship that has continued beyond that with the famed "Run Club". Richard even became a member of Scott's wedding party back in 2023. Scott's friendliness and quick wit will be sure to bring some surprises to the wedding party. Richard se hizo amigo de Scott en la preparatoria, después de que Richard decidiera unirse a carreras de campo a través y atletismo. Norma met Gloria many years ago when Gloria's mom took Gloria to Norma's store to see the person Gloria's brother was talking to all of the time. More recently Norma has joined the family and is now dating Gloria's brother (hopefully he wont wait 10 years until they marry). With hopes that Norma will be around forever Gloria wanted her to be a party of all the pictures and what better way than to be a bridesmaid. Norma conoció a Gloria hace muchos años, cuando su mamá la llevó a su tienda para ver a la persona con la que su hermano hablaba constantemente. Recientemente, Norma se unió a la familia y ahora está saliendo con el hermano de Gloria (ojalá no espere 10 años para casarse). As the first member of Gloria's family that Richard met, her older brother Beto did not hesitate to make a big first impression as a future brother in law. Someone who is never afraid to try and make plans to do something fun with us all (no matter how small and no matter how out of his own comfort zone it goes), Beto has already treated Richard like a brother of his own and we hope he brings those fun ideas into our wedding! Como el primer miembro de la familia de Gloria que Richard conoció, su hermano mayor, Beto, no dudó en causar una gran primera impresión como futuro cuñado. Gloria felt as though she already knew Maddie when she first met her because of how much she resembles Richie. Similar to the other neighbors of Richard, Luke and Richard met at a young age and have had quite the good time since then. Someone who's great at organizing, Luke wouldn't hesitate to invite Richard to fun activities such as roller hockey behind our middle school to all the late dinners watching hockey (you see a pattern yet?) at Buffalo Wild Wings with the rest of the "Run Club". It's no doubt Luke will bring some order and decorum to the wedding party. Al igual que los demás vecinos de Richard, Luke y Richard se conocieron de jóvenes y desde entonces lo han pasado genial. Luke, con su don para organizar, no dudaría en invitar a Richard a actividades divertidas, como jugar al hockey sobre patines detrás de nuestra escuela secundaria o a cenar tarde viendo hockey (¿ya ven la tendencia?) en Buffalo Wild Wings con el resto del Club de Corredores. As another old friend from the neighborhood (and fellow engineer), Chris has been around and always been willing to have fun since he met Richard some 2+ decades ago. With his competitive spirit as well as his quick wit, he is sure to bring some fun as well as keep people on their toes for this wedding party. Como otro viejo amigo del barrio (y también ingeniero), Chris ha estado presente y siempre dispuesto a divertirse desde que conoció a Richard hace más de dos décadas. Jessica met Gloria at Timberline Knolls and at first they didn't know how to feel. Jessica was evening shift and Gloria worked mornings so that was basically grounds to be enemies. Once Jessica joined the better side their friendship bloomed. Jessica provides a listening ear and fun atmosphere. It was a no brainer that she would be a party of the wedding party. Jessica conoció a Gloria en Timberline Knolls y al principio no sabían cómo sentirse. Jessica trabajaba en el turno de noche y Gloria en el de mañana, así que era prácticamente una enemiga. SImilar to another groomsman on our list, Jay and Richard met as RA's at the glorious Hill Hall. Being the senior RA of the building, Jay wouldn't hesitate to help Richard out when it came to the struggles of the job and it didn't take long for Richard to not only become good friends with Jay, but be welcomed into his friend group that included his future wife, Vanessa. As Richard was a member of Jay's wedding party back in 2022, it only made sense that Jay would be part of this one. Al igual que otro padrino de nuestra lista, Jay y Richard se conocieron como asistentes de residencia en el glorioso Hill Hall. Siendo el asistente de residencia principal del edificio, Jay no dudó en ayudar a Richard con las dificultades del trabajo, y enseguida Richard no solo se hizo muy amigo de Jay, sino que también fue bienvenido en su grupo de amigos, que incluía a su futura esposa, Vanessa. Jasmin and Gloria met Freshman year at Joliet Central High School. Jasmin always brought humor and support to Gloria, especially during show choir events and trips. Gloria couldn't imagine her big day without the life of the party! Jasmin y Gloria se conocieron en primer año en la preparatoria Joliet Central. Richard and Peter first became friends during their freshman year of high school. Being a member of the "Run Club" mentioned earlier as well as another friend group known as "The Chat", Peter has accompanied Richard on many of the adventures from both friend groups. From running the marathon to the shark fishing in Maine, it's hard not to imagine Peter being a part of this big moment. Richard y Peter se hicieron amigos durante su primer año de preparatoria. Como miembro del "Club de Corredores" mencionado anteriormente, así como de otro grupo de amigos conocido como "La Charla", Peter ha acompañado a Richard en muchas de las aventuras de ambos grupos. Desde correr el maratón hasta pescar tiburones en Maine, es difícil no imaginar a Peter formando parte de este gran momento.

Allison and Gloria met at Timberline Knolls (not as residents), Allison was made to train Gloria on her first day. Gloria credits a dinner date at Wooden Paddle with Allison as the reason she met Richard and so really the bridesmaid role was meant for her. Allison y Gloria se conocieron en Timberline Knolls (no como residentes). Allison tuvo que entrenar a Gloria en su primer día. Richard and David first became friends in middle school and after they learned they were neighbors, the began hanging out more and more. As someone that's always happy being along for ther ride whether it's playing basketball or even doing something he's new to, David has always been a good friend to Richard and makes a great addition to the wedding party. Richard y David se hicieron amigos en la secundaria y, tras descubrir que eran vecinos, empezaron a pasar más tiempo juntos. Richard and Riley met in college as coworkers after Richard became an RA in the glorious Hill Hall. From the drink nights at O'Dwyers to all the sports talk, it didn't take long for them to become good friends. Even though Riley now lives in Boston, Richard still looks forward to the Zoom calls to catch up whenever they can and makes a great addition to the wedding party. Congratulations on the engagement doctor! Richard y Riley se conocieron en la universidad como compañeros de trabajo después de que Richard se convirtiera en asistente residente en el glorioso Hill Hall. Desde las noches de copas en O'Dwyers hasta las charlas sobre deportes, no tardaron en hacerse buenos amigos.
