Wedding festivities are taking place on Friday, September 20th and Saturday, September 21st. There are no wedding events on Sunday (we'll be recovering!). While the key event is the wedding on Saturday evening, for those who can join us one day early, we will be hosting a 'welcome night' at a vineyard in the region on Friday. We understand not all our friends will be able to join us for the 'welcome night', and that's okay! We love you, and thank you for traveling so far to be with us on our special day.
Castello Teofilatto, a castle in the province of Frosinone, about an hour southeast of Rome.
Casale Verdeluna, a vineyard in the province Frosinone, about an hour southeast of Rome.
We recommend flying into Rome Fiumicino Airport and renting a car for the wedding weekend. Please see the 'Travel' section of the website for more details!
Welcome night: Cocktail attire! Think elegant, vibrant dresses (short or long!), suits, pant suits, etc. We will be at a vineyard, walking on both concrete and grass. Wedding: Formal attire! Think elegant, vibrant dresses (long), suits, pant suits, etc. Friends have asked us if we have a 'color theme'--we do not! Please come as colorful (or not) as you wish! We will be at a castle, walking on both stone and grass (but Maria Victoria will still be in stilettos).
We've done our best to account for long-term partners in our invite list! Please let us know if you think we missed someone.
Your presence at our wedding in Italy is our present. We know it sounds cheesy, but we mean it, and we know you are likely traveling a long way to celebrate our love with us. If you'd like to give us a wedding gift anyway, we've added some fun experiences to our registry (see 'Registry' tab of this website) that have captured our hearts and imagination, which you can contribute to as you wish.
We kindly and strongly ask that you do not use cell phones during the wedding ceremony. We understand friends and family may want to take photos and film, we love photos, too! But our photographer will be capturing these moments, and we'd like to avoid having your face or that of other guests covered by a cell phone. Please refrain from recording or taking photos on your phone until after the ceremony. We will have a designated 'phone' photographer to share shots from the ceremony right after it concludes! At the dinner and reception, absolutely do take photos and videos!!! Thank you and we love you!
Yes!!! In addition to traditional speeches by parents, siblings, etc., we would like to have an open list for our friends to sign up if they'd like to deliver a speech at any point during the night. We will intermediately pause the music for friends to share a few words, then carry on partying. We imagine the speeches will get funnier and funnier as the night goes on and drinks flow!!!
YES! Please submit song requests when you RSVP so we can add them to the playlist! We are so excited to dance together!
