The Colombian Government REQUIRES you to fill out the following Migration form within 72 hours of your flight. CHECKMIG.com We encourage you to exchange your cash in the airport before entering the city. Most places accept card, but cash comes in handy as The Walled City is pedestrian friendly.

Are Kids Allowed at the Events?
Answer
Kids are welcome on Friday for the Island Day, however not at the Saturday events. Ceremony and Reception are adults only. Most hotels have great nanny services in Cartagena, feel free to ask us any questions and also check out the trusted site @cartagenanny. Please let us know as our wedding planners can also help coordinate a nanny service closer to the date. Is Cartagena Safe?
Answer
Cartagena is an incredible city filled with beautiful architecture, friendly people, a rich culture and fascinating history. That said, this isn't the Western Suburbs of Perth! Cartagena is a bustling South-American City, not a resort town, so it's important to be smart and cautious. Follow basic safety measures: avoid bringing valuables, stick to crowded streets, walk in groups, and try not to mingle with strangers after hours. But don't be afraid, all will be fine if you treat the city and the people with respect! There are a lot of street vendors, who will constantly try to sell you products, it is all apart of the Cartagena charm and is a lot of fun, but also can be frustrating at times. If sitting outside at a restaurant they will come, so be aware and if that is something that bothers you, just politely say "No Gracias" and carry on. Choose restaurants that have indoor areas if this bothers you.

Taxi or Uber?
Answer
Do not take local taxis on the street - but Ubers are safe. Make sure to use a trusted transportation company provided by your hotel or AirBnB. If you would like us to arrange a car service for you our wedding planners will be happy to do so!

Should I visit the Beaches of Cartagena?
Answer
Cartagena has many beautiful aspects but the beaches in the city of Cartagena are not one of them. We do not recommend them. To experience the true essence of Colombian beaches we recommend one of the many islands just off the coast of Cartagena, which are mostly accessible by boat. Most of the excursions are at least a half day and require at least a 1 hour boat ride. Here are a few options we recommend! All boats leave from the dock "Muelle De La Bodeguita" this is a very busy dock filled with tourists and locals.

Where Do We Meet For The Island Day?
Answer
Hotel Charleston Santa Teresa will be our meeting point. We will then take a quick walk to the dock called "La Muelle La Bodeguita " and take the boats to the island from there. Our wedding planner will be in touch with all of you in August and we will provide more detailed instructions.
