Things To Do in OkcThings To Do in Okc

The Wedding Website of Loryn Mercado and Eric Weinmeister
We are so excited to share some of our favorite things to do here and we hope you are able to explore while you're in town! We have included some specific areas below, but here is a miscellaneous list of places to throw in your GPS! - Oklahoma City Museum of Art - Sailor and the Dock - OKANA Resort and Indoor Waterpark - Asian District - Uptown 23rd District - Lake Hefner (a meal on the lake is always great)

Plaza DistrictPlaza District

Located on NW 16th Street between Classen and Penn Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73106

The Plaza district is a fun, walkable neighborhood with multiple restaurants, bars and art. It's a good option for exploring during the wedding weekend! Stop at Bad Granny's or Dog Daze Vintage for some thrifting or The Refillery for some local soaps and whatnot. One of our very favorite restaurants, where many a date night is held, is Ma Der Lao Kitchen. If you try a new place while you're here, let it be Ma Der or its sister spot, Bar Sen! Up Down is a great spot for a slice of pizza and video games (Empire Slice for pizza, no games;) and Osteria has some of the best cocktails and pasta in town!

Paseo Arts DistrictPaseo Arts District

NW 28th & Walker to NW 30th & Dewey, Oklahoma City, OK 73103

Paseo is just north of downtown and is OKC's original art district. There are multiple galleries to explore, pretty architecture, if that's your thing, and some really good local restaurants! Some of our go-tos are Frida Southwest, Picasso Cafe and Sauced. Or stop by Flamingo Tiki for some fun cocktails and Oso for some really good tacos!

MidtownMidtown

OKC, OK

Midtown is located just north of downtown OKC’s City Center and has SO many fun places to check out! We like Waffle Champion, Neighborhood Jam (join the online waitlist early!) or Harvey Bakery for breakfast/brunch. Mexican Radio for some casual tacos and drinks or Barrios for a little more polished atmosphere. Some of our favorite Midtown spots for a good snack and a stellar cocktail are R&J Supper Club and Lounge or Later Bye.

Scissortail ParkScissortail Park

300 Southwest 7th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73109

The park is located south of Myriad Botanical Gardens, continues south close to the shore of the Oklahoma River. There is a playground and nature play area, interactive water fountains, seasonal roller rink, dog park and great lawn. Grab a bite and play some board games on Social Capital's rooftop or stop at the Omni for a little more refined bite :)
