When he walked into the classroom, we were instantly drawn to each other. We were friends before we spoke but once we began talking, we were inseparable. In June, 1981 we made it official... We were a couple. The "Powers That Be" moved me away and though we were lost to one another, we never gave up on the idea that we were supposed to be together and found each other again in May of 2011. After slaying our dragons, neutralizing our metaphorical wicked step- mothers and battling with years of unhappy baggage we are finally at the right time to be married. I have a deep love for history and am awestruck by the majestic tales of the early royal familes. Along with the rich culture, magnificent architecture and art from the Medieval eras through to Renaissance, the stories of the hardships and struggles of early royalty invite romanticism and a sense of victory and triumph to our own wedding. This story of Star-Crossed Lovers will have a happy ending as we travel abroad to be married at sea off the coast of Scotland as we sail through the British Isles. Our wedding tour will begin in London and proceed through Guernsey, Ireland, Scotland and France. We will have a reception for our families and friends upon our return.
