We ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. We have meals and place settings lined up just for you!
Of course! Please note, children ages 3 and under are considered lap children and do not have separate seating.
Semi-formal wedding attire is requested. While the reception is climate controlled and indoors, the ceremony is outdoors. Please keep in mind Phoenix in mid-October can still be warm during the day, maybe leave the suit coat in the car! Also, the ground at the ceremony is mostly gravel, please wear appropriate shoes. We don’t want any hurt ankles before you can hit the dance floor!
The ceremony is outdoors, the reception is inside. Weather in the Phoenix area in October is variable with the highs usually being in the high 80s and the lows in the 60s.
There will be an open bar mostly limited to beer and wine selections with a few mixed drink options.
Yes, there will be parking available at both the state park and the reception. The state park entry fee and parking has already been paid for by the couple. The parking at the reception is free in a large public lot.
Our ceremony will be rain or shine. The state park comes alive in early fall rains and will make a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony. Be sure to check the forecast a few days before!
We are having an unplugged ceremony. The photographs will be left to the professionals and we kindly ask you to stow all handheld photography devices. Feel free to snap away at the reception!
