How did you two meet? If Mustapha had his way, he would probably tell people we met at a pharmacy—lol, that is far from the truth. In reality, we connected in 2019 on a dating site. Life happened, and we lost touch, only to rediscover each other in person on the 6th of March 2020. What was your first impression of each other? We both felt an instant connection. Mustapha's kindness and sense of humor stood out to me, while he says my smile and warmth drew him in. How did your first date go? Our first date was magical. We spent hours talking and laughing, realizing how much we had in common and how much we enjoyed each other's company. When did you know they were the one? We knew each other was the one during a spontaneous road trip to Sun City. The joy and comfort we felt in each other’s presence made it clear that we wanted to spend our lives together. What are some of your favorite memories together? Some of our favorite memories include traveling together, late-night conversations, and cooking new recipes at home. Each moment has brought us closer and filled our lives with joy. How did the proposal happen? Mustapha proposed during a beautiful sunset at home. It was intimate and perfect, with just the two of us, a stunning backdrop, and heartfelt words that made me say yes without hesitation. What do you love most about each other? I love Mustapha’s unwavering support (my biggest cheerleader) and his ability to make me laugh even on the toughest days. Mustapha loves my compassion and the way I always strive to make our home a loving, safe, and warm place. How have you grown together as a couple? We have grown together by constantly supporting and pushing each other to excel professionally, spiritually, and physically. Our relationship has become a safe space where we encourage one another to reach our fullest potential in all aspects of life. What are you most excited about for your future together? We are most excited about building a life full of love, adventure, and growth. What are the key elements of your traditional wedding day? Our traditional wedding day will be a celebration of love with a cozy gathering of our closest family members. The beautiful setup by Likha Luxe and a lovely lunch will create an intimate and elegant atmosphere. The theme is black and white with a touch of gold, reflecting our timeless style. It's a party to celebrate our love and to honor the memory of my parents, who cannot be with us but will always be in our hearts.
