Wedding Cancelled

6/16/2020

Covid-19 has defeated our wedding plans. We hope you were all able to get your money back. We will reevaluate our wedding ambitions in due time. Thank you all for your support. Be safe and take care.

Times of Uncertainty - COVID19

3/20/2020

Dear Family and Friends, We are continuing to monitor the situation and its effects on our wedding. We are advising all who have not booked flights or hotel to refrain from doing so. Anyone who has already booked a trip can seek full refunds if offered. If airlines are not offering full refunds and only a change of date with no penalty fees, hold tight. We cannot definitively say at this time whether the wedding will proceed as planned, be postponed, or cancelled outright. We have no means of determining what future date would be suitable for postponement of the wedding. If you have already invested in the trip please feel free to contact Kevin or Lorraine directly with any questions. The priority now is taking care of oneself and our families. Hopefully we will have a clearer picture in the coming months. Sincerely, Kevin & Lorraine

Our Story So Far in 2000 Characters or Less

2008 - 2019

Our story begins at UCSD. By now me and all my friends lived off campus. One particular friend lived in a good party house. My best friend and I were always there. We would often have great nights of competitive beer pong, drinking games, and rock band. One weekend my friend and I decided to wear luchador masks while we played beer pong and hung out. Then the door bell rang and I happened to answer the door. Two girls stood in front of me. One of these girls was Lorraine. Later in the night when I went to introduce myself without the mask, Lorraine’s friend remarked that she liked me better with the mask on. In early 2014 I had bought a house and our mutual friend invited her to my house warming party. We reconnected. She invited me to a European vacation she had planned with her friends and I tagged along. Our love story did not start in Paris, Rome or Barcelona as one would assume. A few months later I made an excuse to see her and proceeded to kiss her. She stopped me and told me I needed to take her out on a date. So I asked her out. We went to Universal Studios for our first date. The night before I had sod installed at my house and decided to celebrate how good my back yard looked. I had one too many cervezas and woke up hung over. I nursed the hang over for most of the day so Lorraine said it was not a very good first date. I told her I had fun but she did not believe me. She still agreed to see me again and eventually I asked her to be my girlfriend. Fast forward five years and our relationship has stood the test of time, but not without its challenges. We have come a long way since the crazy college kid days and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together. We will grow old together but I will always remember the people and circumstances that allowed us to come together. You know who you are. We invite you all to help us make joyous memories as we formally marry and celebrate our love for each other. See you in paradise, Kevin
