On a summer night in July 2017, Lorne decided to throw one of his house parties. He happened to invite one of his friends who was dating Kate’s friend at the time. We all went to Lorne’s house and they were drawn to one another immediately. Lorne and Kate instantly connected over their love of hockey, their families and ended up talking the entire evening! Thankfully, as all great love stories start, Lorne asked for Kate’s Snapchat username and the rest is history. Fast forward to March 2024 on a friend’s trip to Dominican Republic, Lorne popped the question on the resort’s beach with the help of his brother James and sister in law Robin! We were able to celebrate with all of our friends and enjoy our engagement! We cannot wait to become husband and wife and celebrate with all of you!
