Our international story starts in a state found in the middle of the map of the United States - Kansas City. Alex was there to play soccer for Sporting Kansas City and Lorna was there to work for the team. They unknowingly crossed paths throughout the season and finally found themselves together on a Kansas City rooftop. Unfortunately, they did not speak until years later as Lorna was in Europe and Alex was planning his trip to Europe. After some messaging back and forth, Alex and Lorna finally met in Boston, where Lorna was living and where Alex's layover was on his way home to Charlotte. After a night out at Lolita's in Fort Point, Boston they started dating long distance, finding themselves between Boston and Rock Hill. On January 20, 2018 Alex officially asked Lorna to be his girlfriend and on August 4, 2018 Lorna made the move to South Carolina. From there, the two adventured to Cancun, Mexico, Montevideo, Uruguay (Alex's hometown!), Paris, France, Barcelona, Spain, and more! On December 5th Lorna and Alex were in Lorna's hometown of Paris, France when, at the top of the Eiffel Tower after an incredible dinner, Alex got down on one knee and proposed. The rest is history and the future brings so much to look forward to!
