The George Washington A Wyndham Grand Hotel

There will be a block of hotel rooms reserved for our wedding guests. This hotel is a beautiful part of historical downtown Winchester. Along with central location this hotel offers restaurants, a bar, and indoor pool. We have fun memories here such as Concern Hotline events, dates at the piano bar, and friends weddings. This hotel is very close to our venue, but there will be some transportation provided.

Downtown Winchester Virginia

The walking mall and downtown area have so much to offer and if you are traveling we highly encourage you take advantage of this place that we love so much! There are shops, bars, restaurants, espresso bars, breweries, and museums. On our first date Strother and I went to Roma Old Town for dinner and Macado's for drinks after, that are both located on the walking mall. If you do stop in Romas we recommend the calamari! They also have a brewery upstairs that has great beer, Loring is a fan of the Gen 2 locally brewed beer.
