What started out as a tragedy, had a happy ending. Back in spring of 2016, Tom was attending highschool at Lincoln-Way North. He soon found out that Lincoln-Way North would be closing and he would have to transfer to a different school in the Lincoln-Way district. Meanwhile, Lorin was attending Lincoln-Way East, when she found out half of her class would be transferred to a different school to make room for new students. Flash forward to August 2016, a new school year had just begun. Lorin was hanging out in gym class, looking around at the new faces the new year brought when lo and behold, Tom was doing the same thing! Lincoln-Way North ended up being transferred to Lincoln-Way East! How lucky we were that we ended up in the same gym class. The rest is history! Fun fact: we will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary one month before the wedding on 9/26/2026!
