We first met at a University of Utah Crimson Nights which is basically a carnival they had on campus in the Fall when school started. Evan and one of my friends were talking when I came up to tell her we were leaving and Evan and I ended up talking for a minute but both never really thought anything of it at the time. It wasn't until November of 2014 that we seriously reconnected at a Fraternity party and then again a month later at a friends Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. That night I got Evan's phone number where we chatted back and forth daily. Evan asked me on our first date a few weeks later after I returned from winter break!

We were in San Diego for the weekend to celebrate Evan's Birthday and I was running a half marathon. We had 2 of our best friends with us and Evan's cousin had driven up from LA to hangout for the weekend. Friday morning we decided to go hiking in Torrey Pines where we hiked a trail that led down to the beach. There on that beach is where Evan got down on a knee and popped the question! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
