The following lodging options were recommended by our venue coordinator. She recommends staying in Black Mountain which is located right off I-40 and an easy 20 minute drive to Something Blue Mountain Venue. It is a beautiful small mountain town offering everything Asheville does without the traffic and congestion. The same goes for many surrounding mountain towns. North Cove and Linville in McDowell County, Lake Lure (30-40 minutes away) and Lake James (20 minutes away) are beautiful mountain lakes - all offer hotel, cabins, and houses for overnight accommodations.
