We're getting MARRIED!!

We met volunteering at Make Promises Happen, a camp that is very close to our hearts and always will be. The night we met all the volunteers were playing games to get to know each other as a group. He showed up late and I was introduced to Keaton before we went back to our cabins. After we were introduced he invited me to come watch him play basketball with some of the other volunteers, or at least that's what he says I don't remember that part haha. The next day I called him Keagan for the WHOLE day believing that was his name. HE NEVER CORRECTED ME and I would've continued to call him Keagan had another volunteer not called him by his name. Watching him interact and play with those kids stole my heart. I spent the rest of the weekend trying to figure out if he was single. As I drove away that weekend I found him on instagram and messaged him. I told him that although he never asked I was giving him my number. The next day we had a lunch date where he brought me a pale pink rose (my favorite) and the rest is history! And now WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!!

First a little background information. For those of you who know me you know I am very snoopy and am horrible with surprises. That being said I wasn't sure Keaton would be able to surprise but he did, completely. The night Keaton proposed was like any ordinary night. He had just gotten a projector because he claimed we could watch movies outside so he wanted to try it out. For a bit we watched a movie and eventually I got up to go shower and get ready for bed. When I got out of the shower and ready for bed I peaked out to tell him I was going to bed. He came into the room after that with some attitude because he was going to show me some video on the projector. I told him to just show me the video on his phone thinking it was just some old YouTube video. Instead he pulls it up onto the tv and I see he's made a video with pictures of us with one of my favorite Rascal Flatts songs playing. At this point I'm still not thinking anything of it, just that he is too sweet for making this. All the while I'm watching this, I don't have my contacts or glasses on and many of you know I'm blind as a bat without them. At the end of the video I see words come across the screen but I can't read them. I look over to ask Keaton what it said and there he is on one knee with the ring. I was SHOCKED. He actually surprised me. Crazy! He asks if I will marry him and of course I say yes!
