Sotogrande is famous for its polo fields. In August (our original date) there are polo games almost every day. In July it is a bit less, but you might have the opportunity to spot a game.

The Sunday market in Sotogrande is a nice place to stroll through on the lazy Sunday morning after our wedding.

Málaga
Malaga is one of the oldest cities in Spain and hallmarks of its rich past are scattered across Malaga: the cobbled streets of the old quarter, its mountainside Roman Amphitheatre, the Moorish citadels of the Alcazaba and Gilfarbaro. And even once the sight-seeing is done, there’s still a city full of rooftop bars, gleaming boutique stores and nearby beaches to explore.
Marbella Old Town
Marbella is primairly famous for its new puerto with expensive boats, but they also have a nice old town centre to visit with some cosy bars and restaurants.
Rock of Gibraltar
It is not about the Rock, it is all about location. You get to see the shores of Morocco, Spain, and the meeting of the sea & ocean waters.
Ronda
Built astride a huge gash in the mountains carved out by the Río Guadalevín, Ronda is a brawny town with a dramatic history littered with outlaws, bandits, guerrilla warriors and rebels.
Tarifa
Tarifa is the biggest hot spot for kite surfing in all of Europe, with beautiful beaches and a sweet old town that has many cozy shops and cafés. A real chilled out atmosphere.
