I noticed a picture of a lady that had been posted by my close cousin. This lady was so pretty with her caramel toned skin and elegantly dressed😍. My jaw dropped and my eyes could not resist her beauty. I immediately messaged my cousin to enquire “officially” about who this gorgeous lady was and also ask for her mobile digits 😂. Lolo: Osheyyy! Love at first sight or first post 😆 Prince: To my utmost surprise, I already had her number saved on my phone. My cousin confirmed that it was his best friend whom he had tried on few occasions in the past to match-make me with. She had previously extended her greetings through my cousin by wishing me happy birthday a few times whenever my cousin posted me on his WhatsApp (means she was lowkey feeling me oh! 👀😎) Lolo: Ahh 😂 Please I wish multiple people happy birthday. What actually happened was his cousin posted something about him being a 1st class graduate (yesso!! an intelligent man) and I made a comment about that and then ended the conversation by saying “tell him I said happy birthday”. Anyways, those times she had extended birthday wishes through my cousin, I was not ready for any relationship and wanted to be focused on myself and my goals so I paid it no mind. I didn’t want distractions from any woman…until I saw this one. Amazing how you can let your guard down for one person. **Lolo grins** Prince: At the time I was out of the dating scene for more than 2 years so I took 24 hours to summon courage to regain my toasting skills and message her because this guy must not be rejected ohh!! On Saturday December 21, 2019 at about 4:30pm, I finally messaged her and of course! I was the Prince Charming she had been waiting for all her life! Prince: We continued chatting into 2020 and although I was inconsistent with my responses at the time (as they were usually delayed by some days in between) Loretta was always kind, extended grace and made me laugh when we got to chat. I appreciated her a lot for this and it made me always look forward to coming to talk to her. Chats progressed into voice calls and voice calls into video calls (at last! Yes, we took things slow) and by late September 2020 I finally got much needed time off from work. Guess where I immediately flew to? 👀…Yes! You guessed right…Abuja. Backstory guys, before he made this trip, he told me he was coming to see his cousin and nieces (see scope🌚🌚) Prince: Oya Oya, you don catch me 😂. It was a fun trip but unfortunately, things slowed down drastically with the passing away of her dad in 2020 (Lord rest his soul). So we stayed good friends for the next years and I was supportive where and when she needed me to be. Sometime later in 2022, I renewed the conversation with her on the topic of dating and by August we officially began the journey. Now we’re headed for forever together🥰 💕♾️
