The Wedding Website of Karishma Bhatia and Lorenzo Katin-Grazzini
Welcome to beautiful Villa Pitiana! The oldest parts of Villa Pitiana date back to the 14th century. The villa is filled with old scrolls and antique furniture -- a history-lover's dream! In the summer of 1483 Lorenzo il Magnifico de’ Medici tried in vain to purchase Villa Pitiana from General Biagio Milanesi. Since then, another Lorenzo has succeeded in purchasing the villa, albeit only for 4 nights. :)

Travel Note

Traveling to Villa Pitiana

We recommend landing in Florence (FLR) or Milan (MXP) when flying in. 1) Renting a car: we recommend renting a car when you land and driving to the Villa. This is the most reliable and efficient way of getting to Villa Pitiana. If you are wanting to carpool with other guests, or are willing to drive other guests please let us know! We will create a spreadsheet of arrival/departure times to help people carpool! 2) Train: Take a train from Florence to Sant’Ellero train station. This takes ~30 mins. If you let us know of an arrival time we can arrange pick up from the station!
