Change of venue: Our reception will now take place at the Radisson hotel!

The wedding ceremony will be in Davenport, IA at the Stardust, beginning at 3 pm. We then invite guests to join us for a reception at the Radisson hotel down the street from the Stardust. Cocktail hour will begin at 4 pm with dinner to follow at 5:30 pm. We are excited to celebrate our marriage with you!

Logan & Bri first met in 2007 when Bri’s dad, Mark, moved their family to Dysart and accepted the manager position at the telephone company where Logan’s mom, Stefanie, also worked. Bri became fast friends with Logan’s little sister Lydia and their familes became very close. Logan often drew the short stick in the situation as he would be in charge of Brooklyn, Bri’s younger sister, while their parents would be out. They have lots of memoires growing up together such as a weekend at the Bri’s grandparents river house, pictured below. However it was always Bri & Lydia together and Logan wishing he was anywhere else but with the girls. Fast forward to 2017, Bri started bartending at Chelle’s in Dysart and Logan often enjoyed stopping in for a Busch Light or a Captain & Diet. They were able to re-meet now both grown and quickly the conversation turned from catching up to flirty. One night in February Bri gave Logan a ride home and tried to make a move however nothing happend. Logan recalls it as “I thought she was just being really nice”. The next night though when Bri got off Logan picked her up from the bar and the rest is history. Logan and Bri had their first “official” date at a Chase Rice concert in Des Moines, on May 18th (Bri now knows what a big deal it was that Logan was willing to go in the midst of planting). The rest of their first summer together was full of concerts, county fairs, and booze cruising. Bri left for DMACC in the fall and every home volleyball game Logan would leave the field & drive the two hours to watch her play. After DMACC Bri moved into Logan’s bach pad aka “The Nest” and they adopted their dog, Eddie together. After 3 years of being together filled with Semi trips, tractor rides, ice cream date nights, & lots of love, Logan took Bri back to Des Moines & at the same place where they had their first date, he proposed.
