Bush Intercontinental (IAH) is situated on the north side of Houston. While United Airlines is our main hub, there are often plenty of arrival and departure times on a variety of airlines. For our family and friends that are flying from abroad, this will likely be your best bet for a smooth arrival. Easy transit + rideshare: Uber/Lyft, shuttles, and every major rental car company are available right outside the terminals. Arrival advice: IAH sits north of the city, so give yourself extra time when traveling during weekday traffic. Aim to land at least 2–3 hours before any wedding-related events.

Hobby airport is situated on the south side of Houston. Southwest is currently the only airline that flies into and out of Hobby which is perfect if you’re flying domestic, especially if you prefer Southwest's nonstop routes. Rideshare-smooth: Uber/Lyft pickups are fast and straightforward, and getting into central Houston from HOU is typically a shorter drive than if you were coming from IAH. Hobby also has its own rental car center. Arrival advice: It’s great for tight schedules — but still plan cushion time if you're coming in during peak hours.
