Travel Note

Alpine, TX

Alpine is about 25 minutes east of Marfa and features a wide array of more conventional hotel options – Holiday Inn Express, Ramada, Hampton Inn, etc. The Holland Hotel is a beautiful old hotel similar to Hotel Paisano. The drive isn't too bad, and Alpine is a great backup if the Marfa spots are all booked up (which does happen extremely fast in the summer!)
