Jacob and Loren met back in the Spring of 2015 in a Literature class of 15 students. Unknowingly sitting two seats a part. Loren noticed how outgoing and bubbly Jacob was at the time, but never said a word. Fast forward a little over 4 years to 2019, when Jacob was invited to Loren's best friend's birthday party. And to Jacob's complete surprise.... Loren walked up to him for the first time and asked "Hey, you like to fish don't you?". This question sparked a 3 hour conversation that consisted of fishing, food, God, and bucket lists ideas. You'd think Jacob would have gotten Loren's number, but that wasn't the case. (arguably his biggest regret in life). Months later while Loren was half way around the world, Jacob decided enough was enough and wanted to ask her out. This was the first hook set that sparked God's grace of love in two people who have been praying for one another for so many years. Now two years later, they are ready to tie the knot and spend the rest of their lives together. And they are so excited to celebrate with you!
