The Wedding Website of Lorena Arrieta and Terry Richards
We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with you in Cartagena, Colombia—a city full of color, music, history, and heart. Cartagena reflects Lorena’s Caribbean roots, her joy, her warmth, and her love for celebration, all of which Terry has grown to love deeply. We can’t wait to share this beautiful place and its vibrant spirit with the people we love most.
Women’s Attire – Cartagena is bold, vibrant, and full of life, so don’t be afraid to be “too much.” This is the place for color, movement, and personality. Think flowing dresses, bright tones, tropical prints, statement earrings, and playful textures.

Cartagena is warm and humid, so lightweight, breathable fabrics are key—linen, cotton, silk, chiffon, or airy blends will keep you comfortable while looking effortless. If it feels joyful, expressive, and a little dramatic, you’re doing it right. Cartagena celebrates color, confidence, and individuality—so show up glowing, radiant, and unapologetically you.

Men’s Attire – Men are welcome to wear a suit or a blazer—no tuxedo or smoking required. We want you to look elegant while still feeling comfortable. Given Cartagena’s warm and humid weather, lightweight fabrics are highly recommended, especially linen or breathable blends.

Light colors are encouraged and appreciated, as they fit beautifully with the setting and help keep things cool, though they are absolutely not required. Think relaxed sophistication—polished, effortless, and comfortable enough to enjoy the celebration.
