Venue Restrictions and Safety?

Answer

This is an active ranch with equipment, structures, animals and fields that could be damaged or provide a hazard to people and unsupervised children. Unfortunately, animal enclosures and livestock are off-limits so we can't ride them or pet them :( Drive slowly since there are wild animals living on the ranch and we don't anyone to accidentally hit a deer. Swimming, diving, fishing, or hunting is NOT allowed on Rancho Guadalupe property.

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Contrary to the name of the venue, reception will be held indoors at the Rancho Guadalupe Event Center.

Will outside drinks be allowed?

Answer

BYOB - Liquor Only. You may bring in your own liquor but beer, ice, mixers such as sodas, juices, etc. must be purchased from the bar.

How to get to the venue?

Answer

Big Five Road is located off of Monte Cristo between 10th and McColl. Once you turn onto Big Five Road, go straight ALL the way down until you arrive at the STOP sign. The entrance to Rancho Guadalupe is just a bit further ahead on your left. *Please note venue is outside city limits so there are limited/no street lights on Big Five Road.

What to expect when you arrive

At the gate, security will provide directions on how to arrive at the Event Center. It should be an easy road to follow since off limit streets within the ranch will be blocked off.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP information will be sent out with the formal invitation in January. RSVP will be due by February 11th and can be done online or through text.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 15mins before the ceremony and turn off your phone or put it on silence during the duration of the Mass. We hired photographers/videographers to record this special moment so you don't have to! We also don't want to watch our wedding video years later and hear your phone ringing in the background 😒

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome but they should be supervised by their guardians at all times. If you have a fussy baby during the ceremony, there is a Cry Room at the church with a glass window so you won't miss anything.

We are registered here, on Zola, as well as Bed Bath & Beyond. If you click the Registry tab on our website, you'll find both registries are linked and clicking on a Bed Bath & Beyond item will take you to the store's website.
