In the spring of 2014 Loren was in her final semester of college, and Diego visited the campus several times. And they did not meet during this time. Loren graduated that June. Diego transferred in that August. Both blind to what was to come. In the early Fall of 2014, Loren came back to campus for a detour visit, from a job she was doing upstate, where she met Diego for the very first time. They hit it off right away! Loren asked Diego to get drinks, and he, oblivious as ever, accepted without thinking she may have been interested in him. As people who end up dating usually do, they laughed, joked, flirted. The works. Sadly, they did not swap information or #'s. Luckily for Diego he got a second chance, as she came back for another visit two weeks later, and this time Diego got the hint. They began a streak of texting or speaking daily that remains unbroken to this day, 7ish years later. Loren ultimately came back for a third visit and Diego knew he couldn't let this one get away from him. Being the child he is, he asked her to officially be his girlfriend on September 29th 2014, and the rest is history <3
