We technically worked for the same company for a while… we just never actually met. As an MRI technologist and a Nuclear Medicine technologist, we were constantly traveling between locations — always missing each other by a day or a shift. It wasn’t until the company we worked for was bought out and we were both reassigned to the same location that the stars finally aligned. It was a regular Monday morning. I had come in early, like usual. He walked in just as I was coming out of the MRI room, and we turned the same corner at the same time — almost bumping right into each other. It was quick, unexpected, and honestly kind of cinematic. We both stopped, smiled, and from that moment on… fate did the rest. Since that day, we’ve been inseparable — the best of friends, the best of lovers, and each other’s partners in life and in crime. We truly can’t imagine our world without one another.
