We suggest that you book your stay as soon as possible to secure the accommodation that you want. We have locked in special prices for all guests that are staying at The Inn and Residences. All you have to do to reserve is visit the Rancho Santana website click on the top right corner where it says RESERVE then select THE INN AND RESIDENCES, then select SPECIAL CODES AND RATES, scroll down the options, select GROUP CODE, type the code, select the date and apply. For reference, the suites at the Inn (2 to 3 people) range from $273 to $350 per night; and the residences (up to 6 people) go for $473 per night. There are also villas and garden view casitas. The prices and availability for them are in the Rancho Santana website. You can book directly through the website for these, as there is no group code for those. Flight

Airports

Rancho Santana is located within driving distance of 2 international airports that service major airlines. Currently, the best flights from the NYC/PHILI area go to Managua and Liberia. American Airlines and United opened new flights to Managua, which are great options. The flight prices are around $400-$600, but you can get really good deals around $300 some days. The best flights from Peru to Managua are with Avianca and Americam Airlines. There are also good options from Peru to Liberia with American Airlines. (1) Managua (MGA) (2) Liberia (LIR), located in nearby Costa Rica. (Crossing the border from CR to Nicaragua is simply and safe, however, the drive from the airport to Rancho takes about 3 hours.) We want to make this journey as easy as possible, so we will continue to keep an eye on the best flight patterns and will notify people as we see good prices come about. We will be arranging shuttle buses from the airport that you decide to travel to. Please let us know your travel arrangements.

Passport Information

You need a valid passport to enter Nicaragua. Please make sure your passport is valid for more than 6 months from arrival to Nicaragua. Visitors traveling from the US, Peru, Canada, and EU countries are not required to obtain a visa in advance. A visitor visa (or “Tourist Card”) is required to be purchased for $14 USD per person when going through immigration at any border crossing or international airport. Please bring exact change.

When Should We Be There?

Whenever you want! But we will be staying in Rancho Santana from Wednesday until Monday. We’ll have some optional activities/outings including the Welcome Party starting Thursday, with the bigger group outings for those that want to participate from Thursday through Sunday. The wedding will be on Saturday!
