FAQs

Question

Do I need to buy a ticket at the front gate?

Answer

No, we have purchased everyone tickets. They will be at will call. Say you are with the Cormier wedding.

Question

Will there be food and drinks provided at the reception?

Answer

Menu includes: Char-Broiled Steak and Chicken, Pork Loin, Turkey Legs, Sausage Bites, Roasted Corn, German Fried Potatoes, Sautéed Mushrooms, Assorted Cheeses, Garden Vegetables with Dip, Seasonal Fruit Salad, Apple Strudel, Rolls, Nuts, and Mints, Tea Mead, wine and beer to be served at the reception as well. Additional food and drinks can be bought inside the festival.

Question

Do I need to dress up or dress in the theme for that weekend?

Answer

Dressing up is not required, but we would love to see it! :) Ladies, please do not wear high heels. The Texas Renaissance Festival is mainly dirt. Dress comfortably!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 10:30 am at the English Garden. Due to traffic, if you are driving to the festival Saturday morning, make sure to allow enough time. I would recommend arriving when the gates open (9:00am). There is a lot of traffic driving through Magnolia.
