Question

Cruise Pricing

Answer

Cruise pricing fluctuates regularly due to supply and demand and increases as it gets closer to cruise date. It's best to book early so you can secure the best price. You'll also be able to apply discounts if a promotion comes out later. Cruise promotions are based off cruise rate at time of promotion. So if you book in November, and say there is a promotion in April for 40% off 3 & 4th guests- that price is based off of cruise fare in April which may or may not be cheaper than what you already have. If it does end up being cheaper, then you will have it automatically applied to your rate and Loran will update you. To secure your room, you just have to put a deposit down. Final payment is in July. Currently (11/14/25) prices are: Double Occupancy rooms starting at- Inside room: $1,756 Oceanview room: $1,840 Verandah room: $2,020 Quad occupancy starting at: Inside room: $3,074 Oceanview room: $3,188 Verandah room: $3,368

Question

Pre-Cruise

Answer

We recommend flying in the day before the cruise in the event to have wiggle room if airline issues occur. We will have a block of rooms at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina for the night of Oct 15th. You can choose to stay here, or pick another location. We will be providing transportation for all Hilton Marina guests to the cruiseship on October 16th. Off site guests will need to arrange their own transportation. Our room block will be active at the start of the new year, 2026! Currently rates are around $180-200 a night. If you are flying in the morning of the cruise (you will want to have a flight landing before 10am), we can book transportation straight to the cruise as well for you. If you are driving in that morning, you can park at the parking garage at Disney's terminal at Port Everglades.

Question

Post Cruise

Answer

After the cruise is over, you can take transportation straight to the airport, or make arrangements if you are going to extend your trip elsewhere!

Question

How does dining work on the cruise?

Answer

On Disney Cruise Line there are three main dining rooms (also referred to as MDRs): Royal Court, Animator's Palate, and Enchanted Garden. We will be rotating through each of the restaurants throughout the cruise. As people book the cruise, Loran will be linking reservations to the party. This will place us in the same dining rotation. They will also place us in the same area of each restaurant. You will have the same servers each night of the cruise, as they travel to each restaurant with you. The main dining rooms are including in the cost of the cruise. In addition to the three main dining rooms, there are two specialty dining options--Palo and Remy. Both Palo and Remy offer brunch (on specific days) and dinner nightly that you can pay seperate for on your own.

Question

Will there be a strict schedule to follow?

Answer

While our wedding will be happening on the 18th, this is also a trip for you. We will be eating dinner together each night. Outside of that, we will throw out suggestions on what activities we will be doing, and you are welcome to join or do things on your own. There's no getting bored on a Disney Cruise! There's activities all day long- focus on hanging with family and friends, but just don't miss the wedding ;)

Question

How many people can come?

Answer

Your family is invited! We understand a trip can be hard to accommodate for the entire family. If everyone can’t come, feel free to make arrangements for some, or mix a room with other family members or friends who are able to come. And if you just want to send well wishes-- no harm in that either!

Question

What type of identification documentation do you need to board?

Answer

US Citizens (Including Children) Original valid US Passport OR Original or copy of their state-issued birth certificate AND a physical Government-issued photo ID (digital/mobile state-issued IDs are not acceptable to sail) Children 15 years of age and younger are required to present one of the documents listed above, but do not need to present a Government-issued photo ID. Social Security Cards and Global Entry are not acceptable proof of US citizenship for purposes of traveling outside of the US

Question

Flights

Answer

You will want to book flights to Fort Lauderdale (FLL). Flights are usually priced high a year in advance. Flights are usually at their cheapest around 4-6 months in advance. It's recommended for a cruise to fly in the day before, to allow wiggle room in case of a cancellation or delay.

Question

What documents are needed to fly?

Answer

Ages 16 and up need a passport and valid goverment ID, OR a REAL ID Ages under 16 need a copy of birth certificate

Question

Booking site:

Answer

Loran can help book your cruise, and pre-cruise hotel stay! However, you'll need to book your flights to Fort Lauderdale airport. If you book your cruise on your own- please let Loran know so she can send a form to connect it to our wedding party. This would need to be done within 30 days of booking. Cruise pricing changes regularly. It's based on supply and demand, as well as increases as time gets closer. The sooner you book, the best price you will get. All you have to do is put a deposit down and the cruise will be secure. Final payment will be in July. Visit the "RSVP" tab for a clickable link. https://forms.gle/Ggc6oeAj81Mw9QNUA
