Are kids invited?

Answer

Please let us know if you would like to bring your kiddo. There is a space for your child to be during the ceremony, dinner, and reception if you would like them to come with you. We can provide child care on site.

When does the ceremony start?

Answer

5:30pm sharp. That means butts in seats by 5:25pm. There is a short 5-10 minute walk from the parking lot to the ceremony site. The bathrooms are not immediately adjecent to the ceremony site. Please plan accordingly.

What weather should I be prepared for?

Answer

It is August in Colorado, and the tempature fluctuates. We recommend you looking at the weather a week ahead to plan for what you will needbut we anticipate it will be warm. The ceremony will take place outside and it is uncovered. Bring sunglasses, wear sunscreen, and we will provide water.

What does cocktail attire mean to John and Lora?

Answer

Dresses to the knee, midcalf or full length are all welcome. Polos, including short sleeved polos, are fine as well as button down shirts. Slacks and khaki's are preferred. Jackets and ties are optional!

How do I get to Littleton from DIA?

Answer

We strongly recommend renting a car as there is not consistent public transportation from DIA to Littleton. If you do not want to rent a car, Uber and Lyft is available.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is a large parking lot that is a short 5-10 min walk away from the reception and ceremony sites.

How do you recommend getting to and from the ceremony?

Answer

We would suggest either having a designated driver or ordering an Uber or Lyft.

Is the wedding and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both are at the Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms. The receptions will be held in the stables and the ceremony in the open air chapel on site.
